Pā o te hā - Cushion in Bottle Green (square)

Pā o te hā means 'meeting of the life essence'. The pattern was inspired by a combination of kowhaiwhai (Māori painted ornamentation) Norse and Celtic knotwork designs and represents the coalescence of my Māori and Pākehā ancestry. 

Collaboration by Shane & Ariana (Ngāti Toarangatira, Ngāti Raukawa, Ngāpuhi)

Original artwork is printed onto fabric using colourfast pigments and made into unique, original cushions.
