Over the Rainbow

"The Rainbow Trout was a favourite of my fathers and from my earliest recollects I was always encouraged to revere it and enjoy it’s natural beauty. This was my third try and represents my best effort to record the fabulous nature of it to be enjoyed at the viewers leisure."

"A few years ago I spontaneously started signing myself off with “Happy Trails”… As a lad the term “called” as I imagined long weeks riding through big country under big skies. I rode horses often and loved the hills out of town and herding the wild cattle there. I’ve always loved the old cowboy comic artworks and created this Sunset Cowgirl to celebrate moving into a new day and wishing everyone good things on their journeys. The sun and the moon, big hats, shawls, cross stitch, camp fires, and a tattoo remembering those great country tunes like that played every week on The Sunday Program when I was a kid. Maybe it’s a Boomer thing but happy trails to you all."
