"Having driven this section of the coast for many many years, I had been seeking a strong image of Kaipti island, something compelling, something I hadn't seen before. And on this afternoon, the wind was fair howling. Perfect! Spotting a group of gulls on the beach, I inched closer until they took flight - a process I repeated a dozen times until I felt I had the right combination of gulls & light. And I think this nails it!"
