Heading into lockdown on March the 27th 2020 I found myself in a conversation with the editor of Life & Leisure, a national magazine that was about to publish it's 15th anniversary issue with a feature about my life and art in the Bay of Islands. Kate, that editor, asked if I might work with them to create a cover as they had received the devastating news that they could not publish hard copies of the magazine and they had also been locked down. Very similar to the cover, this artwork encourages our rebuilding and I publish it here with BE KIND as it's theme. As we move forever onward Aotearoa, let's remember, BE KIND.
