A Lot On Her Plate

The Five kingdoms of living things are depicted in this painting inspired by a reading of ‘Mythos’ by the wonderful Stephen Fry and the powerful influence of these incredible greek myths and language on our modern world .

Whilst the animals and plants are plain to see the Monera, Protista and fungi are represented on the ginger jar all being held by the mother.
