Jane Gibbens

Jane Gibbens is a Wairarapa artist known for her meticulous, detail-rich paintings that celebrate the beauty found in everyday subjects.
Working across miniature landscapes and her much-loved bee series, she combines fine draftsmanship with luminous gold leaf to create works that are both intimate and striking.
Her miniature paintings have become highly sought after, often collected in groups, proving that small works can have just as much presence and impact as larger pieces. Through these tiny windows into the New Zealand landscape and the quiet industry of bees, Jane invites viewers to pause, look closely, and find joy in the details.
