Jay Lloyd based on Waiheke Island moved from South Africa in 2010 where he established his own studio and foundry. Jay does a variety of work from jewellery to sculpture and is exhibited throughout New Zealand and in private collections worldwide. "Bronze is one of the oldest materials worked extensively by man, yet it has retained its mystery throughout the ages."
Lee Gutterson grew up across the road from the Pacific Ocean in sunny Napier. It was inevitable that his future work would be connected to the sea. Now Wellington based, Lee's work varies from furniture and joinery to kitchen boards and utensils as well as his extensive collection of quirky characteristic fish and steampunk whales. Lee's fish and marine sculptures are one-of-a-kind and he considers his furniture designs being as expressive as a work of art.
Paula Coulthard uses the COULTHARD philosophy to create her work. Creating dynamic forward looking design through reusing, recycling and returning to core materials and concepts - hard wearing natural materials; appropriate use of technology; the beauty of industry; finishing that endures.
