Get to know Paora Tiatoa while also getting a sneak peak of his work that will be showcased in his solo exhibition at ORA Gallery on October 29.  Paora Pictured In His Studio Paora is an artist of Ngapuhi and Ngati Raukawa descent, currently living and creating his prints on Matakana Island. Check out this new beauty by Serena Buonaguidi-Haynes titled 'Rockpool' currently featured in the window at ORA.   Rockpool is from Serena’s modern mermaid series. It is all about the isolation of the figure but surrounded by her bird protectors and the safety cocoon of being underwater. The fish are koi and they are often described as living jewels.
