Crafted on the blowtorch in black glass and shaped with a cool optical mould, they are decorated with a swirl of shimmering dichroic glass that changes colour in the light.
Modern dichroic glass was developed by NASA for use in dichroic filters on the Space Shuttle. However, colour-changing glass dates back over 20 thousand years.
