This series of blooming polymethyl methacrylate sculptures explores notions of formal uniformity, spatial density, and compositional equilibrium. Emerging from an initially planar condition, each piece is transformed through a self-taught methodology of volumetric origami. Logan employs dual flamethrowers as performative tools to activate and manipulate the thermo-reactive surface, orchestrating a play between heat and form. Each bloom is a singular, hand-crafted artefact that pushes the inherent material limits of cast acrylic — negotiating thickness tolerances, structural solidity, and thermal thresholds.
