‘Holtoms Buildings’ - Limited Edition, Fine Art Print

Holtoms Buildings was established in 1920 and is located in the idyllic seaside village of Paekakareki, Kapiti, NZ.

This beautiful, grand building is one of the first things you see as you cross the railway lines and enter Paekakareki Village. Originally the building hosted a billiard parlour upstairs with a Garage on the ground floor. The garage was built by Mr Frank Holtom who saw a business opportunity with the growing number of vehicles taking the trip over Paekakareki Hill for people to visit the shops and the beaches in the area.

Recently the building was given a complete refurbishment, earthquake strengthened and repainted. The building now hosts cafes on the ground floor and a large Art studio upstairs.
