8 - 31 August

Ngā Tamariki o Tāne Mahuta rāua ko Tangaroa: The Children of 'Tāne Mahuta' God of the Forest and 'Tangaroa' God of the Sea

A solo exhibition by Taranaki-based artist Rob Barrington.

Step into a reimagined Aotearoa, before towns, roads, and rooftops, and follow the native birds, taniwha, and fish as they move through a landscape rich in life and memory.

Featuring a mix of hand-drawn animation and painted works, plus a custom soundtrack by the artist’s band Montage, this multi-sensory show explores the connection between land, water, and the creatures that call them home.

Opening night: 5 -7pm, Friday 8th August
Where: ORA Gallery, 23 Allen Street, Te Aro
