Collection: Vicki Charles

Vicki Charles is a talented ceramic sculptor originally from Melbourne, Australia but now settled in her beautiful home in The Wood, Nelson, New Zealand. Vicki's home includes a small gallery and a fully equipped studio.

Vicki explores her emotional connectedness to humanity in her sculptures. She finds inspiration through stories of mythology, words of philosophers and spiritual teachers like Rumi, who speak of love and compassion; as well as from inner journeys, symbolism and dreams. Each unique piece is sculpted by hand, moulded to shape delicately and skilfully using clay

Over the last few years, her sculptures have been recognised by her peers through a number of national competitions.  

Vicki is also a skilled tutor, and over the last six years she las loved sharing her wealth of knowledge with others.
