Amy Hoedemakers

Amy Hoedemakers graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology and has exhibited in solo and group shows within New Zealand and Ireland. Her work is held in private and public collections within New Zealand, Ireland, England and Australia. Based in Oxford, just out of Christchurch, where she currently works from her home studio, working towards a new body of work. There is a strong sense of poignancy and beauty to her paintings, her work has many layers to it and is more appreciated with close-up viewing.
