I have been with Ora for over 10 years \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003enow and during this time my work has emerged from painting Kiwiana and \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003einanimate objects into a visual feast of patterned colour and multi textural layers \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eof acrylic and mixed media on canvas. My work is highly textured, richly hued \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eand has found critical and commercial acclaim, and can be found in private and \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ecorporate collections throughout New Zealand and overseas. I love bold colour, \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eand texture is a distinctive trademark of my work.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBefore starting her career as an artist in the 1990's Heather held professional positions in the food industry having graduated from Otago University with a double degree in food science and human nutrition. The influence of food still comes through strongly in many of her works.
