His art revolves around breathing new life into recycled and sustainable materials, with a particular focus on locally sourced timber from the Canterbury region.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"\u003eBy working with a diverse array of reclaimed wood, Glen creates striking artworks that highlight the natural hues, textures, and unique characteristics of each species. His pieces have a story to tell many of the timbers used in his work are salvaged from post-earthquake demolitions, family home renovations, and discarded furniture. Glen carefully selects and combines these materials in a distinctive, organic process, forgoing traditional sketches or plans.
